Friday

14th October

It has been a very breezy day today. The sun was out for the most part though and the air is cool! Currently 73F/21C and I have on my fuzzy slippers as my feet were cold! It is still too humid to feel like fall though, pity. But hopefully that crisp fall air will kick in this weekend.

Hummingbirds have migrated on farther south. Black caps are emptying our feeder at present. And the dog is snoozing on his pillow oblivious to the birds or the stiff breeze.

Burning bush is half red now. And I feel the need to replace my impatients with pansies...must make a trip to the nursery!

Have a sunny weekend all!

  2. We are very fortunate to have the Hummingbirds come through every late summer. They are amazing little birds! But hard to photograph *laughs* or I'd have a bunch of photos to share!
